WHAT ARE GENSETS?
Refrigerated containers require a source of energy to keep them up and running. If you have 220 volts 3-phase power available on-site, you will not require a portable generator known as a genset. However, if it is not available, there are two ways to keep your perishables at optimum temperature: with portable, diesel-powered gensets that clip on to the container or are mounted underneath the chassis. We carry gensets from Carrier, Thermo King and Bodeneimer, all readily available for immediate delivery and installation.
